How to draw the basic strokes

How to make them: 

The basic strokes are the foundation of lettering and you know what? I never learned them when I started lettering. It was about a year into my lettering journey when I finally learned them and they blew my mind! Everything made way more sense once I learned the basic strokes.

Because of this I always start by teaching these strokes. They look like funny little shapes and squiggles, but they combine to make almost all of the lowercase letters!

In this video I’ll walk you through each of the strokes and how to draw them. The best way to improve your lettering is to improve your basic strokes. Let me know if you have any questions!
