How to make double frame seals

Watch the full YouTube tutorial here:

Supplies you'll need:

Frame wax seal stamp | Blank oval stamp | Sealing wax sticks | Crystal clear hot glue stick | Low-temp glue gun (at least two) | Krylon Gold Leafing Pen | Parchment paper | Ice pack

How to make them:

First, heat up your sealing wax and crystal clear hot glue in two separate low-temp glue guns. While they are heating up, place your frame stamp on an icepack. This is the most IMPORTANT step! If the metal is cold it won’t stick to the glue.

Next, trace your blank oval stamp onto your craft paper. Then cut out with scissors. When sealing wax is warm, pour it into an oval shape, place the paper on top and then press with the blank oval stamp. Allow to cool for 30-60 seconds. Then remove the blank oval stamp.

Then pour the hot glue (in an oval shape) on the craft paper. You don’t want to fill the entire oval space, just a little over halfway. Then press with the cold frame stamp. Allow to cool for 30-60 seconds.

Once cooled, remove the seal from the stamp. Use a Krylon Gold Leafing Pen to color around the raised portion of the frame stamp. Let the paint dry for 10-20 minutes before handling.

That’s it! I love how versatile this style of seal could be. Just change out the color of the sealing wax and the paper and you’ve got endless options! Let me know if you try it!!
