Today’s reminder: You are loved

Before school started one of our cousins was coming over a few times a week to play with the kids so I could focus on work for a few hours.

On one of those days I was feeling stressed out about work and life. While I was making lunch for all of us, he started asking me questions. Like my least favorite food, how I met my husband, if I had siblings. That little conversation shifted my perspective of the day. I felt better.

Later I was thinking about the quote by Spencer W Kimball, “God does notice us, and he watches over us. But it is usually through another person that he meets our needs.” This was a small experience where I felt the love of God.

Remember you are loved. Look for the experiences and people who let you know that He loves you. Because he does 💛
