Constant He Is and Kind Watercolor
Last Sunday, I was doing some organizing and getting all the kitchen counters cleaned. Idk about you but it seems like overtime our counters accumulate tons of stuff, until it reaches a point that I can’t stand it. That was that day.
As I was cleaning a song came into my mind:
“Where can I turn for peace?
Where is my solace
When other sources cease to make me whole?...
Gentle the peace he finds for my beseeching.
Constant he is and kind,
Love without end.”
The phrase “Constant he is and kind, love without end.” Stood out in my mind. This led to two thoughts:
1️⃣ As a child my parents always took me to church and a big part of church was the music. Over years of attending I’ve learned many different hymns. I hadn’t heard or thought of this particular song in who knows how long. It is amazing to me that the spirit can bring things from the past our remembrance, in moments when when we really need them.
2️⃣ Jesus Christ has and continues to be a constant for me. He is always right next to me. Sometimes I wander from Him. But he never moves. He’s always there.
Whoever needs to hear this: He is kind. He is constant and He is always there.
