My Number One Tip for Working With Your Brush Pen

When trying to decide what my number one tip would be, it was hard to narrow it down to one... but I really think doing (or not doing) this one thing will make or break your lettering. Here it is:

Hold your pen at a 45° angle.

Holding your pen at a 45° angle allows you to get BOTH thin and thick lines. Any other angle doesn’t allow you to get the same flexibility. Check out the video to see how it works.
