How to make framed “artwork” wax seals

This is one of my favorite ways to use a frame stamp. You can use it to frame some “artwork” and the best part, any paper you like will work well!

Supplies you'll need:

Frame wax seal stamp | Vanilla Blush Sealing Wax | Crystal Clear Hot Glue | Low-temp glue gun | Parchment Paper | Craft Paper | Exacto

How to make it:

First, heat up your low-temp glue gun and sealing wax. The color you’re using will be for the frame of the stamp. I’m using Vanilla Blush. Once it is warm, pour the wax into an oval shape onto parchment paper. Press with an oval frame stamp. Allow to cool for 30-60 seconds and remove seal from stamp.

Next using an exacto knife or scissors cut out the frame. You’ll cut off any excess wax around the outside of the seal and also cut out the interior of the frame seal. So all that you are left with it the frame shape in the sealing wax color you chose.

Place the frame stamp onto an icepack and heat up the crystal clear hot glue in a low-temp glue gun. Place the frame back into the stamp. You want the stamp to be cold, but use your hand to press the wax frame into the stamp. Because the frame stamps are so intricate they hold quite well.

Once the glue gun is warm, pour and oval shape over the paper of your choice. Then press the stamp (with the wax frame in it) into the glue. Allow to cool for 30-60 seconds and then remove.

The last step is to use an exact knife for scissors to cut off the excess hot glue so that all you’re left with is a little mini framed artwork wax seal! Let me know if you try this or have any questions!!
