Supplies you'll need:
Isomalt Crystals | Blank wax seal stamps | Edible pressed flowers | Edible shimmer powder | Parchment paper | Tweezers | Pot with thick bottom | Heat proof spatula | Metal serving spoon | Oil spray | Paper towels
How to make them:
First prep your pouring area. Hand wash all blank wax seal stamps you plan to use. Dry them completely. Place a sheet of parchment paper over your work surface. Spray wax seal stamps with oil spray (olive oil, vegetable oil or canola oil all work great). Use paper towel to rub off excess so there is only a thin layer of oil on the stamps. Have your spoon ready. Place pressed flowers out onto parchment paper.
Next, place some of the Isomalt crystals into pot and warm over medium heat. Continuously stir crystals as they start to melt. Bring to boil and allow it to boil for 15 seconds, all while stirring. Remove from heat and take isomalt to your prepared work surface.
Then using the spoon pour a small amount of the isomalt over the pressed flower. Press with one of your prepared blank wax seal stamps. Allow to cool for 3-5 minutes. Once cool, remove the stamp and you’re left with a gorgeous clear isomalt seal!
If you want to add some gold to the edge of the pressed flower isomalt seal, mix the edible shimmer powder with lemon juice until it’s a paint consistency. Paint the edges of the seal and allow to dry for several minutes
That’s it! Super easy and a fun way to make edible pressed flower seals!!
