I think it can be hard to have confidence in ourselves, especially as mamas. It’s easy to spiral into thoughts of not being good enough or not being the “best mom”. But when when we have faith that Christ will be right there helping us, we really can do all things. He is the one that makes it possible for us to be the best versions of ourselves and therefore the best mamas for our kids. Let’s talk about planning. First, I want to know if this is something you do? I LOVE a good system that helps me stay organized, focused and reaching my goals. So yes, you could say I’m a fan of planning. Here’s how it’s been working lately: I have two main goals I want to accomplish for the rest of the year. Based on those goals I will planned out the next six months. (Sounds like a lot, but once it’s broken down it becomes totally doable.) I’ve shared this before, but when I started lettering I just jumped right in. I didn’t take a class or read a book. I just looked at peoples styles and mimicked their letters. This was fine for a while, until I wanted to develop a personal style. It was then I realized that I would need some basic knowledge about letter forms and lettering to be able to do that.
